Lying upon a great stone at the water’s edge with eyes closed, nothing within the experience save for the cool stone underneath and the wind whispering above.
It is here that the memories of the great stone rise to the surface of awareness.
Echoes of the eons beneath cold and indifferent skies, the endless spiral of stars rising and falling across the skies. The scorching sun shining it’s radiance before fading into darkness in an endless rhythm.
The presence of ice forming to cover the landscape before once more receding, season after season, eon upon eon.
The wind carving pathways of time upon the stone, while bringing forth the gentle lap of waves in an endless dance.
This was an elemental existence, one limited to the most primary awareness. Yet flowing as one with the most beautiful of songs, of endless, ever-spiralling time.
